Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations

If your child is struggling in school, they’re not alone—and you're not without options to help them. I specialize in comprehensive, remote evaluations to help individuals across California understand why learning feels so hard, and what can be done to support you. Whether it’s a learning disability like dyslexia or dysgraphia, ADHD or executive functioning challenges, the diagnostic evaluation is designed to uncover the root cause and create a clear, actionable path forward.

All evaluations are conducted by a licensed educational psychologist and take place online via secure telehealth, making the process convenient and accessible for families statewide—in rural areas or big cities from Sacramento to Los Angeles and beyond.

Diagnostic Evaluation Service and Fees

Evaluation of cognitive, academic, processing, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning to provide a full picture of how your child learns—and how to support their success.

This evaluation is ideal for school-aged students experiencing challenges with basic academic skills, comprehension, attention and focus, participation, school refusal, or relationships.

I can also support young adults who need accommodations for college or university coursework or high-stakes professional exams such as the LSAT or Bar.

The evaluation takes a holistic approach as I assess potential learning and developmental differences, executive functioning, as well as any social or emotional barriers to learning.

A comprehensive diagnostic evaluation includes:

  • A detailed intake interview to understand your concerns

  • Review of records and questionnaires to gather insight on development and day-to-day functioning

  • Online, one-on-one testing sessions from the comfort of your home

  • A clear, strengths-based explanation of your or your child’s learning profile

  • Diagnosis, when appropriate

  • A feedback session to walk through the results together

  • Actionable, individualized recommendations rooted in evidence-based practice

  • A comprehensive written report you can share with schools or care providers

Fee: $3,075

What to Expect

Intake & History

The process begins with a detailed interview to gather relevant background information and concerns about learning, behavior, or development. You’ll complete standardized questionnaires that assess areas like executive functioning, attention, and coping skills.

Online Testing Sessions

Via secure telehealth platform, you or your child will complete standardized cognitive, processing, and academic tasks with a licensed educational psychologist.

Feedback & Recommendations

I provide a written report and a live feedback session summarizing the diagnosis, learning strengths and weaknesses, and targeted, evidence-based recommendations. These can support school accommodations, 504 or Individualized Education Plans (IEP), private school learning support, or referrals for therapy, executive function coaching, or medication management.

In-depth evaluation for learning, attention, social, or emotional struggles—done remotely with expert guidance and clear answers.
